Solid-State Batteries: The Next Generation of Energy Storage

Gotion High-Tech is the first manufacturer globally to have successfully installed solid-state batteries** in EV vehicles and tested them under real-world conditions (“road tests”) for over 60,000 kilometers (May 2025).

Solid-state batteries represent the next generation in battery technology. The fundamental difference between them and conventional lithium-ion batteries (such as LFP) lies in the electrolyte: they use a solid material (e.g., specialized ceramics or polymers) as the electrolyte.
